About the Artist

Guided by material. Grounded in curiosity.

Charlee Bolen creates work that moves freely between fine art and traditional craft. Her practice includes drawing, painting, stained glass, metalwork, and mixed-media construction—each medium offering a different way to develop an idea and give it physical form.

After studying at Memphis College of Art, Charlee continued building her skills through craft-focused programs in Eureka Springs. Her professional background in stained glass fabrication further shaped her appreciation for patient workmanship, thoughtful design, and the unique character of handmade objects.

Over the last four years, Charlee has become an active part of Baton Rouge’s creative community, sharing her work through local art markets and independently organized exhibitions. An engaged social media following has allowed her to bring more people into her creative process while connecting with a growing audience in New Orleans and beyond.
